Practice
Originating from its SardarTavana Associates roots, Studio_NimaSardar is a young, London based architectural studio established in 2022.
The studio was co-founded by practice director Nima, based on principle of collaboration. It was born out of the winning entry for Antepavilion competition, which is recognised for promoting innovative design and providing a platform for emerging architects and designers to showcase their work and gain exposure.
Studio_NS has carried on their work with the same ethos and a willingness to push the boundaries of traditional design. We seek to create buildings and structures that not only meet the practical needs of their users but also provide a sensory and emotional experience. We believe in keeping the building method pure and honest, whilst demonstrating our craft and expressing our vision through the use of carefully selected materials and detailing. Our passion is to develop projects with a strong relevance to site, epoch and its history, enriching the lives of individuals and communities they serve.
Studio_NS is currently undertaking several residential projects internationally, but the practice welcomes all types of work relating to architecture, design and research. We work collaboratively with clients, consultant designers and specialists on a wide range of project scale and budget.
The work of the practice has been featured in print and online and our director is involved in academia too.
Studio_NimaSardar is a registered company in England and Wales: 06194933

We respond to our clients’ needs by designing projects in a very personal and hands-on way, collaborating with people as required. We view any project as not only making a building but also as building a team based on trust and common goals. As architects, we can provide various levels of professional service and guidance based on client requirements and project types. Some of these are outlined below.
– Feasibility Studies
– Pre-planning advice
– Planning and Building Regulations Approval
– Detailed Design
– Construction Packages
– Site supervision
– Project Management
– Contract Administration
By default, we adhere to all guidance from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and recommend the use of RIBA Standardise appointments. The process we use also follows the RIBA recommended project stages, with the project clearly defined at the end of each stage providing certainty and a clear progression route.
Communication – We believe the success of any project and satisfaction achieved relies heavily on effective and clear communication. Throughout all stages of the project we keep in close contact with client, ensuring all projects steps and decisions are explained and understood correctly.
